Dr. Priyanka Patel

Dr. Patel graduated from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 2006.  She went on to pursue an additional Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science, and then a  Doctorate of Optometry, with clinical honors, from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Her areas of expertise include primary care optometry, contact lenses, ocular disease and myopia control.

Dr. Patel’s mission is to provide an optometry examination experience for her patients that combines high tech equipment and thorough eye exams.  With her twelve years of professional experience, Dr Patel continues the GHEye tradition of providing exceptional professional eye care while creating a strong doctor-patient connection.  Dr. Patel is committed to staying in this community and plans to practice at GHEye for the long-term.

Dr. Patel resides with her husband, four-year-old daughter, and dog in the area.  She enjoys photography, yoga, hiking and spending quality time with family and friends.
