Dr. Patel is passionate about helping her patients see their best and feel comfortable and cared for throughout every eye exam. She began her education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before earning an additional Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science and her Doctorate of Optometry, with clinical honors, from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Patel is passionate about helping her patients see their best and feel comfortable and cared for throughout every eye exam. Her areas of expertise include primary care optometry, contact lenses, ocular disease, dry eye disease and myopia control. She especially enjoys getting to know her patients
and taking the time to understand their individual vision and eye health needs. Dr. Patel believes that great eye care combines advanced technology with a thorough,
thoughtful approach. She is committed to providing comprehensive examinations while building genuine, lasting relationships with her patients. As part of the GHEye team, she
is proud to serve the local community and looks forward to continuing to care for patients and families for years to come.
Outside of the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, photography, yoga, and hiking. She lives in the area with her family and their dog and
feels fortunate to be part of the community she serves.
