Adults

Some people think of an eye exam as a few tests by a technician, a couple minutes with an eye doctor, and some numbers scribbled on a prescription pad. But it just takes one visit to GH Eye to recognize the difference between that type of eye examination and what we do.

Adults from age 30 to age 55 benefit from precise vision testing and a complete eye health evaluation.  GH Eye exams emphasize both vision care and medical eye health. We want you to see your best so you can be your best for the rest of your life!

One of the benefits we offer when you are examined at GH Eye is that Drs. Stoeger, Masiello and Sachinski will talk to you about how you use your eyes on the job and for your other activities. Your doctor will then use her technical expertise and experience to help you determine which of our high technology Frames, Lenses or Contact Lenses are right for you.

If you are considering Lasik surgery, we will help you answer the key question – Is Lasik the best option for you?  Two people may have identical prescriptions, but one may be an excellent candidate for Lasik, while the other is not.

A comprehensive medical eye evaluation can pick up problems such as cataracts, dry eye problems or retinal defects that impact your vision. A thorough eye exam can also detect the existence of medical problems elsewhere in the body.  Careful eye evaluation is essential if you are being treated for diabetes, hypertension, auto-immune disease, cancer or other medical problems.  Drs. Stoeger, Masiello and Sachinski perform Dilated Eye Examinations, utilize Optomap Daytona Ultra Wide Field retinal view technology, and perform Visual Field testing to  assess your ocular health. GH Eye also provides Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for more specialized Optic Nerve and Macula testing.

We diagnose and/or treat many medical conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, vitreous detachment, retinal tears or detachment, ocular foreign bodies, corneal abrasions, “pinkeye” conjunctivitis, uveitis, ocular allergy, dry eyes and many other problems.

Whether you need a “routine” eye exam or have medical eye problems, the doctors and staff at GH Eye are here to help you.
